How often should my furnace/air conditioner be cleaned and maintained?

You should have your furnace or air conditioner maintained every year to comply with the manufacturer’s warranty. Many home insurance plans also require annual maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.

What if I need service on the weekend or a holiday?

Our emergency no-heat service operates 24/7. Our own A1 president Peter Messenger has personally done a service call on Christmas morning – we take our commitment to our customers seriously.

What’s the number one thing I can do to keep my furnace in good shape?

Replace your furnace filter. A dirty furnace filter is a common cause for HVAC system failure. A dirty filter restricts airflow, which can cause motor burnout, overheating, high energy use and system failure.
