Why do I need a Protection Plan?

A Protection Plan ensures that your equipment is running safely and efficiently. It also helps you avoid expensive repairs and keeps your equipment running at peak performance.

Are Protection Plans a good investment?

Parts and labour are expensive (our average repair cost is $350!). For the cost of a small repair, you can have all parts and labour covered, plus an annual inspection, tune-up and cleaning. We call that a good investment!

What does a Protection Plan include?

A1 Protection Plans all include an annual inspection, tune-up and cleaning, plus free or discounted service calls, repairs, parts and labour. Click here for an overview of our plans.

How often should my furnace/air conditioner be cleaned and maintained?

You should have your furnace or air conditioner maintained every year in order to comply with the manufacturer’s warranty. Many home insurance plans also require annual maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.

What if I need service on the weekend or a holiday?

Our emergency no-heat/no-cold service operates 24/7 and we’ll even bump you to the top of our list. Our own A1 president Peter Messenger has personally done a service call on Christmas morning – we take our commitment to our customers seriously.

A1’s Protection Plan provides us with peace of mind when it comes to our furnace and air conditioner. They offer expert and friendly service. It is easy to reach a real person when I have a question by phone. Fernando came by today for the furnace service and I know we are all set for a warm holiday season regardless of the weather outside. Highly recommended!

Planned maintenance work is to be performed by A1 Air Conditioning & Heating from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays.
Should you or any authority having jurisdiction request modification or relocation, these services will be performed at our regular service rates.
In the event that any product required to repair your equipment is not obtainable due to no fault of A1 Air Conditioning & Heating, the cost to modify or replace the equipment is not covered.
The warranty does not cover Acts of God or collateral damage.
All prices are subject to HST. Monthly payment options available with credit card only.
