Options to keep your air clean and healthy

As most people know, COVID-19 is spread through exposure to respiratory droplets carrying the infectious virus. Generally, it doesn’t spread via HVAC systems but rather through face-to-face close contact. However, it’s smart to keep the air in your home clean and healthy.

  • Good ventilation is always important – a steady supply of fresh filtered air helps to reduce pollutants, contaminants and high humidity. Good airflow keeps your house feeling fresh and clean
  • If you haven’t done it for a while, now’s the time to change your furnace filter – an easy DIY job that should take less than a minute. We stock filters and are happy to help you figure out which one you need
  • Consider improving the quality of air in your home with an air purification system, such as HEPA filtration, mechanical air cleaners and UV lights

Your ducts can act as a collection source for a variety of potentially harmful contaminants such as mould, spores, pollen, human and pet dander, viruses and mites. The expert team at A1 is a trusted source for duct cleaning that you can rely on.
